Penza, 22 December 2015. PenzaNews. The presentation of Sura river embankment improvement concepts will be held in Penza on Thursday, December 24, announced Olga Maximova, head of the city’s Urban Planning and Architecture Department, during the weekly city hall session on Tuesday, December 22.

“We expect the governor [Ivan Belozertsev] to take part in the presentation. We will officially show our concept. After that, we will strive to organize the exhibition in the [city administration building] hall for citizens to learn about it. We also plan to showcase the materials we received during the embankment improvement design contest to evaluate them and see which one got the most positive marks to reward the contestants somehow later on,” she said.

The concept announcement will be followed by an embankment improvement roadmap, Olga Maximova added.

The event must be open for all citizens so that they could express their opinion on the project, said the Penza city mayor Victor Kuvaytsev.
