Energy Worker Day celebrated in Penza

Penza, 22 December 2015. PenzaNews. Energy Worker Day was celebrated in Penza in an official even in the regional Philharmonic Hall on Tuesday, December 22. The audience consisted of invited workers of the local “MRSK Volga” branch – “Penzaenergo” (Rosset group), “Penzenskaya Gorelectroset,” “Setevaya Kompaniya,” and “TNS Energy Penza.”

Before the official part, the event hosts recounted the achievements of each companies. Among other things, according to them, “Penzaenergo” facilitates the power distribution network in all the Penza region, allows to connect new power consumers, as well as repairs and maintains networks and equipment from 0.4 to 110 kV. The company’s propery includes 197 35-110 kV transformer nodes for a total set power of 3,114 MVA, as well as 6,608 other transformer nodes, as well as more than 31,000 km of power lines of all capacities.
“Penzaenergo” has five subdivisions, and supplies power to over 8,700 enterprises and organizations, as well as more than 500,000 individual consumers, with the help of its staff of over 3,000 people.
The Penza region governor Ivan Belozertsev was the first to congratulate the esteemed audience with their professional holiday.
He addressed particular words of gratitude to the energy company heads for the event they organized for their staff in the Philharmonic Hall.
“We all realize that no industrial company, no business is able to develop, no investor is going to come in the region without stable power supply and power connection. Indeed, the companies that are working here, on the Penza land […] are working hard, and succeed in their tasks,” added the head of the region.
According to him, the growing consumption of power shows that industry, SMEs and the social field are developing.
Also, Ivan Belozertsev highlighted such objectives for the future as modernization of certain transformer nodes and installation of additional infrastructure in investment zones.
“I believe we will be solving these tough issues together. Again, I would like to thank you for your job and wish you sound health, happiness, prosperity, successes, and a Happy New Year with all woes left behind,” the governor said.
The official part also featured an award ceremony for best Penza region energy field workers, followed by a festive concert.
