Penza, 26 December 2015. PenzaNews. The Penza region governor Ivan Belozertsev has instructed his subordinates to inform citizens of the region about the available housing programs more actively.

“I propose to create a task force with professionals from ministries and departments together with bankers and builders to analyze the people’s housing situation. We need to meet with people working in various enterprises, schools, kindergartens and hospitals, and, if necessary, offer them good or larger and better housing,” said the head of the region during the meeting session with Penza region real estate producers held in the regional government on Friday, December 25.

He also suggested to analyze the possibility to reduce the price of housing per square meter.

“Housing must be optimally priced. This needs work, without waiting for any heavy-weight authority action with massive funding,” Ivan Belozertsev stressed.

According to official data, 930,000 square meters of new housing in the region appeared in 2015, with an overall new housing growth increase of 3%. According to the press service of the Penza region government, the regional budget for the upcoming year already has the funds to provide additional support to real estate producers.
