The activists informed the citizens about the launching project and proposed them to contribute by publishing photos and clips with city issues in various social networks using the Cyrillic hashtags #УРБАНиЯ, #сделаемгородлучше, and #Пенза.

“‘Urbania’ is a project aimed to create a comfortable city environment by the citizens themselves. We have created a social network zone where everyone can submit a plea, offer a project or an event, to help make their city a place where people want to live,” Andrei Medvedev, head of “Urbania” project in the Penza region, commented on the news.

Further on, the information provided by the citizens will be used to send requests to relevant authorities, which the activists will monitor afterwards, the press service of the Youth Guard of United Russia in the region informed PenzaNews agency.
