“PenzaNews” editor-in-chief Pavel Polosin receives “25 Years of EMERCOM” medal

Penza, 30 December 2015. PenzaNews. Internal Services Major General Sergei Kozlov, head of the Penza region EMERCOM department, has presented Pavel Polosin, editor-in-chief of PenzaNews agency, the medal “25 years of Russian EMERCOM” on Wednesday, December 30.

The head of the regional paramedic department ceremoniously read out an excerpt from the decree of the chief of the Russian EMERCOM Vladimir Puchkov in presence of the editorial office staff.
In accordance with the document, Pavel Polosin receives commendation for contributing to development and modernization of measures of civil security, public and territorial emergency protection, fire and water safety, and to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the Russian Ministry for Emergency Situations.
In addition, Sergei Kozlov personally remarked that the journalists’ work help the residents of the region learn about the tough work of the EMERCOM staff that saves thousands of lives and property costing millions of rubles.
“No matter how hard we would work, nobody would learn about the work we do without professional coverage,” he stressed.
Moreover, Sergei Kozlov particularly stressed the fact that PenzaNews agency always covers the fact in an impartial and non-biased manner.
In turn, Pavel Polosin called the reward from EMERCOM a great personal honor.
“Thank you for the high praise of our work. This reward, I think, comes from the efforts of all staff members of the news agency,” he said.
The medal “25 years of Russian EMERCOM” is the internal medal of the Russian Ministry for Emergency Situations (MES).
It is awarded to staff members of the Russian Ministry for Emergency Situations, with work experience of 10 years or more, as well as to other citizens, for contribution to the creation, development and assistance to the unified state system of prevention and liquidation of emergency situations, for long-term and impeccable service to the cause of the Russian EMERCOM.
