Pushkina street water pipeline breach repaired in Penza
Penza, 3 January 2016. PenzaNews. Construction workers continue to repair the main water pipeline breach in the vicinity of Pushkina street, 3 apartment building that occurred at about 20.00 of Saturday, January 2.

The Penza city administration head Victor Kuvaytsev held a task force meeting on Sunday, January 3, to discuss the breach. The task force session featured the first vice-mayor Vladimir Popkov, the Penza city administration deputy head Yuri Ilyin, the general director of “Gorvodokanal” Alexander Avdeev, and the head of “Penzadormost” Andrei Shevchenko, as well as representatives of law enforcement and emergency services.
The machines from the Leninsky city area office of “Penzadormost” were immediately diverted to the breach area, Yuri Ilyin reported.
According to him, the repair crews undertook a series of measures to avoid any water spills in the road area that poses a threat due to cold weather; the road was corded off, traffic detoured, and road subjected to mechanical and chemical cleaning.
Currently, all apartment buildings receive water without any interruptions, the participants reported.
Victor Kuvaytsev will be monitoring the issue personally, the press service of Penza city administration told PenzaNews agency.
