Penza, 4 January 2016. PenzaNews. Grandfather Frost has gifted the children wall calendars for the new year with depictions of generalissimo Joseph Stalin during a New Year event held in Akhuny settlement of Penza city on Monday, January 4.

The event was organized at the initiative of the deputy center of Georgy Kamnev, leader of the Penza Communist Party branch, and the CPRF regional committee.

The holiday for children and parents living in Akhuny also featured various contests and open-air games, such as tug-of-war and bandy matches.

In addition, the guests of the event enjoyed the ice slides, took part in a festive khorovod, and made photos with Grandfather Frost.

Adults were actively participating in the open-air entertainment along with children. The festivities concluded with hot tea and pastries, as well as sweet presents for young Akhuny residents.
