Victor Kuvaytsev urges Penza citizens engage in active recreation during holiday

Penza, 4 January 2016. PenzaNews. The Penza city administration head Victor Kuvaytsev has urged the citizens to engage in active recreation during the remaining New Year holidays and instructed the relevant officials to create the necessary conditions at a decent level.

In his opening word to the session of the winter season improvement task force held on Monday, January 4, Victor Kuvaytsev addressed the present task force members with a proposal to do everything in their powers to make active and healthy outdoors recreation more attractive for Penza citizens.
In turn, heads of city areas administrations, as well as Natalya Ozerova, chairman of the committee on physical education, sports and youth policy, reported on readiness of hockey and skating rinks for mass recreation, games and matches.
Following that, Alexei Mikhaylov, head of the Civil Defense and Emergency Situations Department, gave a report on the present situation and the city, and urged the officials working on fire prevention to increase their activities, including in the private housing city sectors. He also praised the level of interdepartmental coordination in emergency resolution.
Concluding the session, Victor Kuvaytsev gave away a series of crucial orders on the parts of the city that would require the most attention during the remaining holidays, says the press service of the Penza city administration.
