Penza, 9 January 2016. PenzaNews. The Penza officials plan to improve the housing conditions of 1,765 people living in 764 flats in 57 dilapidated apartment buildings of Penza in 2016.

A total of 8 apartment buildings will be constructed for these purposes by municipal subcontractors chosen through the procurement auction, they noted during the January 9 meeting dedicated to the progress of the program “Moving Citizens from Penza City Dilapidated Housing Fund in 2013-2017” held on Saturday.

The first three houses on Novoselov street – No. 110, 112 and 115 – were constructed during the 2015 stage, with first residents beginning to move there in February.

The 2014 stage provides for improving the housing conditions of 899 people living in 356 flats of 49 dilapidated houses.

At the moment, three apartment buildings on Chapaeva street – No. 73, 74 and 77 – were completed, and the moving is still in process.

Under the 2016-2017 stage of the program, the plans for 2017 are to move 2,222 people from 1,046 flats in 83 dilapidated houses. The project documentation for 12 new apartment buildings in Zarya residential area has already been developed.

Currently, the officials already signed the agreements on 8 of these buildings: their construction will begin once the positive results for the state examination arrive. The auctions for the four remaining ones are to be announced in February, says the press service of the Penza city hall.
