Penza, 12 January 2016. PenzaNews. Georgy Kamnev, first secretary of the Regional Committee of the Communist Party, deputy of the Legislative Assembly of the Penza region, stated that the CPRF members positively reacted to the news of their comrade Andrei Zuev being released from the courtroom.

“Naturally, we are happy to see Andrei Victorovich [Zuev] released from the courtroom. So far, I do not know all legal details, so I cannot comment in that regard. But I can tell you I spoke to him by phone: he never lost his spirits anyway, and [particularly] now everyone is happy, he is going home. […] He will stay with the family now, and we will make sure to meet in the nearest future,” the leader of the Penza Communist Party branch commented by phone for PenzaNews agency on Tuesday, January 12.

He also suggested that Andrei Zuev, who currently remains a deputy of the Legislative Assembly in the Penza region, will be continuing to actively work for the good of the people in the region.

“For us, the most important thing is that he is free,” Georgy Kamnev stressed.
