Penza, 14 January 2016. PenzaNews. Penza city has 150 million rubles for heating network repairs in 2016, announced the city administration head Victor Kuvaytsev during a press conference on Thursday, January 14.

“In order to prevent any of these [heating network breaches], we practically yesterday or the day before held a very consistent discussion with the company [‘T Plus’] over the project of our work in 2016, and agreed on a significant volume of work they must redistribute. That concerns the heavy-gauge network. While our state enterprise ‘Penza City Heating Supply’ will be working within its area of responsibility,” he explained.

The city budget has no money to conduct repairs of all pipeline networks in the current year, Victor Kuvaytsev pointed out.

“But I can assure you that we will be allocating significant funds for repairs, with our, city’s, participation in the repairs, in order to avoid similar situations in the future,” he said, describing the situation with municipal infrastructure malfunctions.

“Obviously, using state-of-the-art supplies for repairs is very important,” the Penza mayor stressed.
