The main mottoes of the event, a part of the annual countrywide campaign, are “Won’t Forgive, Won’t Forget!” and “Remembering Means Fighting.”
The public rally aims to attract public attention to issues in relations between people of different ethnicities, growing nationalist sentiment in the society, and increased propensity towards conflict.
Reportedly, the memorial rally will include speeches by members of the Penza anti-Nazi movement and youth organizations.
