Penza, 15 January 2016. PenzaNews. The traffic police of the Penza region will hold mass driver checks for alcohol this weekend, on January 16-17, to identify any possible DUI cases.

The preventive measures are also held in the region on Friday, January 15, the press service of the Penza region traffic police department informed PenzaNews agency.

“We ask the drivers to show understanding during the checks. Also, the traffic police asks the citizens to not remain indifferent and be active. If you see a drunk driver on the road, please inform the police office by calling: +7 (8412) 59-90-02, 59-90-03, 59-90-04, 59-90-72, or 02,” the press service noted.

The traffic police also added that the police officers are permitted to record audio and video footage to register any criminal activity.
