Penza, 18 January 2016. PenzaNews. Five people were found out to be infected with swine flu in the Penza region over the past week – January 11-17.

“All cases have been confirmed by laboratory tests. Among the sick are residents of Penza and Kuznetsk,” Vera Bykova, press secretary of the Penza region Rospotrebnadzor department informed PenzaNews agency on Monday, January 18.

She also added that there are currently 1,515 detected cases of respiratory viral infection in the Penza region.

“In particular, there were 705 cases in Penza city alone during this period,” Vera Bykova elaborated.
