He also named several other officials that will face layoffs tomorrow if they do not fulfill their duties today.
Victor Kuvaytsev stressed to his subordinates that he sees the results of communal services in snow cleaning as unsatisfactory.
In particular, he noted, the communal crews are acting too slowly and poorly to clean roads and sidewalks, particularly in Soglasie and Akhuny residential areas and in the upper section of Moskovskaya street.
“Over 140 million rubles was allocated for street cleaning in the first quarter of this year. All budgeted resources are fully transmitted to communal services to avoid any supply issues with fuel and other resources. The city has snow-cleaning machines, you just need to negotiate. What is the problem?” the Penza administration head asked the officials present at the meeting.
The mayor ordered to accept all bills for snow removal only with authorization of area administration heads.
“The main reason behind the poor discipline in performance is big management staff, but that can be rectified. I am ready to find a job for everyone who will do honest work,” the press service of Penza administration quotes Victor Kuvaytsev.
