Drug-related crime numbers drop by 30% in Penza region
Penza, 22 January 2016. PenzaNews. The overall number of drug-related crimes registered in the Penza region in 2015 was over 1,430 cases, which is 30% less than the year before, announced Police Major General Yuri Denisov, head of the regional branch of the Federal Drug Control Service, during the FDCS meeting session on Friday, January 22.

“In addition, the region currently has low drug-related crime incidence rate per 100,000 citizens. We are now placed 63rd out of 77 constituent territories of Russia,” he noted.
Moreover, Yuri Denisov added, the Penza region was placed 12th out of the 14 regions in the Volga Federal District in this factor.
