Penza, 22 January 2016. PenzaNews. The Penza region plans to open a resocialization center for drug addicts in 2016, announced the governor Ivan Belozertsec during the meeting session of the regional Federal Drug Control Service held on Friday, January 22.

“I see my objective to solve this issue this year,” said the head of the region.

He added that he has information that such services are currently provided on a semi-legal basis, with 8-10 people at once gathering in private-owned apartments.

The regional authorities must provide care to those who want to treat their addition and become a normal part of society, Ivan Belozertsev stressed.

“We are sure to create the rehabilitation and resocialization center in the Penza region this year,” the governor said.
