Penza, 29 January 2016. PenzaNews. The volunteers for the 2018 FIFA World Cup will undergo preparation courses in the Penza youth center.

“We have reached an agreement with the institution to hold an awareness campaign, select and teach volunteers,” the press service of the Penza region Education Ministry informed PenzaNews agency.

There are plans to involve over 700 volunteers in locations in the Penza region and Mordovia during the 2018 FIFA World Cup, they added.

Saransk was chosen as one of the 15 host cities for the 2018 FIFA World Cup in 2012.

The Penza region will be taking part in the World Cup as a training base: the Penza sports complex “Zenit” will serve as a training facility for one of the teams taking part in the tournament.
