“Your service has a significant role in ensuring state and public safety, protection of Constitutional rights and freedoms of citizens. You managed to preserve the steep figures that show effectiveness of your work, for which would like to express my gratitude to you,” said the head of the region during the expanded collegiate session of the institution on Wednesday, February 3.
He highlighted the trend towards increased solved crimes rate in the Penza region – from 67.6% in 2014 to 70.1% in 2015.
Additionally, the governor addressed particular words of gratitude for solving tax crimes, such as the 29 cases opened over the previous year.
“I will point out that the process of resolving tax crimes featured particular attention to reimbursement of financial damages to the state. As a result, the regional budget gained over 180 million rubles,” Ivan Belozertsev said.
He also addressed the investigation personnel to engage in interdepartmental cooperation for corruption prevention measures.
“The objective of preventing corruption, classified as one of the main threats to state and public safety, had been set by the Russian President. Fulfilling this objective requires not only expertise, but also increasing social responsibility for results of your work. I ask you to actively counter all cases of corruption, regardless of a person’s position and social status. Everyone must answer to the law,” the press service of the Penza region government quotes the head of the region.
