Penza, 3 February 2016. PenzaNews. Roads timely cleaned off snow and sleet must become a norm and not a subject of doublespeak for Penza, the city mayor Victor Kuvaytsev agreed with the editor-in-chief of PenzaNews agency Pavel Polosin during an extensive interview.

“Frankly, that must be the truth all the time. The only possible obstacle to that – and I this is my strong opinion – is the lack of funds for upkeep of our machine park,” he said.

The mayor added that currently the city has enough funds and human resources to keep the roads in a proper state.

“True, that costs money. But, excuse me, this money comes from the taxpayers who are taking the street, including you, and they understand they are paying the taxes and feel they are not doing that in vain,” Victor Kuvaytsev explained.
