“This day is a good opportunity to highlight the vanguard role of the scientific community in modernizing and increasing effectiveness in all fields of economy, transitioning it to the innovative path of development. Through their daily work, Penza scientists, researchers and members of the higher education system make an enormous contribution to the development of Russian science, high-technology production and professional education. Inventions and researches by our professionals are recognized and appreciated worldwide,” stated the city administration head.

He noted that Penza citizens can be rightfully proud of their prominent compatriots who left a mark in the international scientific legacy through their researches and discoveries.

“Today, our common objective is to keep scientific work coveted, facilitate development of innovative technologies and improvement of connections between science, education and production, and attract talented youth in research and development work, make young experts of science stay in Penza. I believe that thanks to patriotism, diligent work and professional skills, the scientific potential of the city and the region will continue unfailing growth,” Victor Kuvaytsev stressed.
