Penza, 12 February 2016. PenzaNews. The tickets to “Saratov Airlines” flights to the Russian South are currently unavailable for purchase due to adjustments in the schedule caused by an increased number of flights from Penza, the Penza airport director Yuri Oskolkov told PenzaNews agency on Friday, February 12.

“Recently, ‘Saratov Airlines’ purchased an additional aircraft – and Embraer 195 with 119 passenger seats. This required a change in the summer schedule – we introduced additional flights,” he explained.

According to him, ticket sales will reopen throughout the day or next Monday, on February 15.

“The schedule for June which had been announced previously will remain on the same days as before,” Yuri Oskolkov clarified.

He added that “Izhevsk Airlines” will organize Thursday flights from Penza to Sochi and Simferopol on Thursdays once a week.

“I negotiated [this issue] yesterday, a new schedule was signed,” Yuri Oskolkov said.

The schedule is formed “so that there would be no rush hours in the Penza airport,” he pointed out.

Moreover, Yuri Oskolkov also noted that they are considering setting up new flights to Sochi that reportedly would be conducted by “Pobeda” low-cost airline.
