The document provides for a series of measures to ensure road traffic safety.
In particular, the agenda contains a plan to create a public road situation monitoring system to identify the most dangerous sections and promptly change the situation. In order to do so, the Penza region government website will be updated with a new section, “Road Safety.”
Moreover, the document seeks to make regional executive authority bodies more responsible for installing road safety railings and elements on the most accident-prone road sections.
In order to improve the post-accident ER system, the region will be holding regular emergency medical rescue drills to improve level of cooperation between rescue services during the accident aftermath measures.
Moreover, the officials will hold a massive campaign to ingrain people with guidelines on lawful behavior while in the traffic ,including social advertising, support for young traffic inspectors groups, cooperation with youth organizations to facilitate traffic accident prevention, and beyond, says the press service of the Penza region government.
