“We need to move away from asphalt. It is done with paving slabs everywhere – cheap but quality-made,” he pointed out during the regional government meeting session on Monday, February 15.

Ivan Belozertsev also mentioned a paver block production company in the Penza region and advised to research its products more thoroughly.

“We need to begin it this year, plan the work,” said the head of the region.

In addition, he brought particular attention to the importance of conducting high-quality sidewalk repairs riught from the start, instead of following the example of Moskovskaya street where certain business-owners are trying to spruce up the area around their stores or offices, breaking the overall outlook of the street.

“It should not be like this,” Ivan Belozertsev stressed.
