“He became a subject of a composite enforcement proceeding on debt collection. According to information provided by the Penza region traffic police department, the debtor has a 2012-made car to his name which he hid from the bailiffs for a long time and declined to visit the court service voluntarily. Reconduction was much more effective,” the official representative of the FSCB in the region Yana Zagrebelnaya told PenzaNews agency.
She explained that the bailiffs responsible for enforcing court orders brought the debtor along with its car to the bailiff responsible for execution of the court order.
“The debtor ran away when the bailiff was giving him the required documents and telling him that the vehicle is to be arrested to pay for the debt. He escaped the premises so quickly, the only thing the bailiff could do was to ask the debt collectors to provide care and custody for the car and find a way to evacuate it to its new parking place. However, after a short course of running, the debtor eventually returned: he decided it would be safer if the car stays with him, even if he would be unable to use it, while he seeks out the money to pay the debt,” she pointed out.
If the debt is not paid out eventually, the expensive car will be transferred to a dedicated trader for evaluation and sale, and the proceeds will be distributed between the creditors.
