Penza, 17 February 2016. PenzaNews. The Penza region governor Ivan Belozertsev has congratulated the Penza youth with Russian Student Teams Day, celebrated countrywide for the first time.

“Throughout all stages of their existence, student teams excellently served to teach hard work, high morals and patriotism. It is hard to overestimate their contribution to improvement of the country’s socioeconomic potential,” noted the head of the region.

Student team members continue the glorious traditions of their senior fellows, he added.

“They are actively taking part in creation of notable sports locations, building schools and kindergartens, involved in all-round development of infrastructure in towns and villages,” the governor said.

Ivan Belozertsev thanked the youth for their fruitful work for the Motherland and wished them sound health, prosperity, happiness and success in their plans, says the press service of the regional government.
