Bank Kuznetsky launches mobile acquiring service for legal entities

Penza, 17 February 2016. PenzaNews. The Penza Bank Kuznetsky has launched an mPOS mobile acquiring service for small enterprises and individual businessmen that allows to receive banking card transactions using, a combination of a card reader, and a smartphone or a tablet.

The bank has partnered up with “Smartfin” (under their brand 2can), which is responsible for the technology behind the service, the bank’s press office informed PenzaNews agency.

“To connect the mobile acquiring service, you need to sign an agreement in any Bank Kuznetsky office, obtain a small-form card reader, and download, install and activate our app in Google Play or AppStore. Mobile POS terminals can work with the most popular international banking card systems – Visa International and MasterCard Worldwide,” the press service explained, adding that the service follows international transaction systme standards and is PCI DSS, EMV1 and EMV2 certified.

“Mobile acquiring is an excellent alternative to usual cardreader terminals in offices and shows, which opens up new possibilities for use of banking cards. Bank Kuznetsky seeks to provide modern and reliable solutions which help our clients grow and develop their busines,” the Bank Kuznetsky board chairman Mikhail Dralin commented on the news.

Bank Kuznetsky was founded as a limited liability company and registered by the Bank of Russia on October 26, 1990, under No. 609. It was transformed into an OJSC on January 19, 2012, and into a PJSC on September 17, 2015.

On January 14, 2005, Bank Kuznetsky was included into the register of banks that are enrolled in the compulsory deposit insurance system under No. 428. In July 2015, AK&M rating agency confirmed the bank credit rating at “B++” on the national scale with a “stable” outlook.
