Penza, 21 February 2016. PenzaNews. The Penza mayor Victor Kuvaytsev, who visited Rostov-on-Don with the regional delegation, has invited Sergei Gorban, head of the Rostov-on-Don administration, to make a return visit to his city.

“We also have something to show. Our city demonstrates how effective the cooperation between municipal and regional authorities can be,” he pointed out.

During the visit to Rostov-on-Don, the Penza delegation, which featured the chief architect of the region Leonid Ioffe, the head of Urban Planning and Architecture Department to the city hall Olga Maximova, and the general director of “Grazhdanproekt” Yuri Shlyakhin, studies the management and financial issues related to the reconstruction of the city river embankment zone.

They began with a guided tour through the embankment of the river Don, followed by a meeting with the business-makers who took part in concession agreements.

The representatives of the administration shared their experience, and explained that the land plots for reconstruction of the river shore areas were provided under concession agreements.

“After studying the experience of Rostov, we were reassured that we are heading the right way,” Victor Kuvaytsev summed up the visit.

He also stressed that the visit will help avoid potential mistakes, says the press service of the Penza city hall.
