Penza, 22 February 2016. PenzaNews. The web portal of the Boris Yeltsin Presidential Library will stream the first film of the series “Penza Natives In History of Russia,” produced by the video studio “Globus” of the Lermontov regional library. The streaming will begin on Tursday, March 1.

The film is dedicated to Alexander Suvorov, renown Russian military commander, while the second series focuses on the army marshall Nikolai Krylov.

The video series will feature a total of five films.

In particular, the audience will learn when and why the streets of Penza were named after the great personalities, says the website of the Lermontov regional library.

The Boris Yeltsin Presidential Library is beginning its project to stream documentaries that describe the life, development and history of Russian regions, as part of the traditional broadcasting project and the work to develop and inter-regional information network.

The partners of the project are the Novgorod Museum-Reserve, the Penza Lermontov regional library, the Pskov regional universal scientific library, and other organizations.

The streaming schedule with brief run-downs of documentaries will be updated on the library website every week.

The streams, available in the “Direct Streaming” section of the Presidential Library website, are available for all visitors.
