Penza, 24 February 2016. PenzaNews. Eight citizens of the Penza region will receive the “Labor Merit of Russia” award after the closing ceremony of the contest “Creators of the Sura Land” which will be held in the regional Legislative Assembly hall on Friday, February 26.

“In addition, a number of Penza citizens will receive diplomas and official certificates,” Igor Pantyushov, acting deputy chairman of the regional branch of the Russian civil organization “Labor Merit of Russia,” member of the Penza region Civic Chamber, chairman of the regional Russian Geographical Society branch, told PenzaNews agency.

According to him, all 8 award candidates have been confirmed with the “Labor Merit of Russia” Central Council.

“The event will be a part of the solemn meeting of the organization’s Penza regional branch. We plan to invite the members of ‘Labor Merit of Russia,’ labor veterans, activists of the newly-created youth club ‘Danko,’ holders of labor merit awards,” he clarified.
