Penza, 26 February 2016. PenzaNews. Penza city will be celebrating 2 years since the opening of the local rollerdrome in the Olimpiysky park on Sunday, February 28.

The festive event will begin at 12.00 with an entertainment program for children, which will feature a rollerskating quest, games, relay races, and a lottery.

At 15.00, the best rollerskating teachers of Penza will hold an open-doors workshop, during which they will tell the audience about the basics of rollerskating, balancing, safe breaking, and correct falling, and demonstrate a number of figure skating tricks performed on roller skates.

A sports and entertainment rollerskating show “Golovastiki” will begin at 16.00, with rollerskating games and contests for participants. It will be followed by an open training session “Fitness On Skates,” during which the audience will learn the basics of rollerskating, pilates, and strength load.

The event for the whole family “Two Years Together” will begin at 18.00 at the rollerdrome. It will feature rollerskating games, art workshops, tabletop games at the local timeclub “Balkon,” and a number of photozones.

The festivities will conclude with rollerskating disco for young men and women, which also begins at 18.00.

As PenzaNews agency reported earlier, the rollerdrome “Olimpiysky” opened in Penza on 28 February 2014 during the preparations for the celebration of the city’s 350th anniversary.
