Penza region to receive 51 mln rubles for housing payments to newlywed families

Penza, 25 February 2016. PenzaNews. The Penza region will receive a subsidy for 51 million rubles in 2016 from the federal budget for housing purchase or construction payments to newlywed families.

The distribution of funding, for a total amount of 3.56 billion rubles, between the regions will be made in accordnace with the Russian government decree signed by the Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev.
According to the notes, the funds will be provided under the program “Providing Housing to Newlywed Families” of the federal target program “Housing” for 2015-2020, which provides for social payments to purchase or build new housing – for at least 30% of estimated housing value for newlywed families with no children, or at least 35% for newlywed families with one or more children.
The subsidies will be provided for budgets of the Russian regions selected by the Russian Ministry of Construction for the subprogram. The subprogram list for 2016 features 65 selected regions.
According to information by the Penza region Ministry of Labor, Social Security and Demography, the subprogram will receive 29,990,000 rubles from the regional budget and 48,177,000 rubles from municipal budgets for co-financing.
