Penza region placed 14th in Russian pancakes ingredients cost rating
Penza, 4 March 2016. PenzaNews. The Penza region haws been placed 14th in the Agro2b.ru Russian regional rating of a total cost of ingredients for a stack of 30 Russian pancakes (blinchiki), which has been published in advance of the Maslenitsa celebration.

To calculate the rating, the experts analyzed a summary cost of 1 liter of 3.2% fat milk, two eggs, 400 grams of supreme-grade buckwheat flour, 40 ml of sunflower oil, 2 tablespoons of sugar, and a pinch of salt to taste.
As a result, Mordovia took the first place in the rating – for the second year in a row. The region keeps its ingredient cost of Russian pancakes for Maslenitsa the lowest in the country: however, this year the set increased in cost by 2.58 rubles, up to 65.49 rubles.
The Saratov region is second, with 66.18 rubles to spend for a stack of pancakes. The third is the Orenburg region, with a total sum of 66.64 rubles.
The ingredients for pancakes in the Penza region, according to experts, cost 69.43 rubles. Based on the evaluation, the citizens of the region will have to spend 40.46 rubles for the milk, 12 rubles for the eggs, 11.74 rubles for the flour, 1.26 rubles for the sugar, and 3.97 rubles for the sunflower oil to bake a stack of 30 blinchiki.
The highest prices on the aforementioned ingredients were registered in the Primorsky and Kamchatsky Krai, and in the Yamalo-Nenets and Nenets autonomous regions.
The anti-leader of the rating is the Magadan region, where the necessary set of goods costs 149.87 rubles.
