Penza, 4 March 2016. PenzaNews. The Penza regional blood transfusion station holds a donor campaign dedicated to International Women’s Day on Friday, March 4.

The would-be donors queued up at the doors of the institution before its opening at 8.00.

The crowd featured many students; also, most of them were men, even though the institution promised gifts to women in the approach to the holiday celebrated on March 8.

After filing the paperwork and passing brief medical examination, the campaigners queued up to donate their blood for the good cause.

In return, the blood transfusion station staff presented the young men and women with memorabilia bearing the symbol of the blood donation service.
