Penza, 12 March 2016. PenzaNews. 79 drivers were subjected to administrative penalties during the “Pedestrian Crossing” preventive campaign held by the traffic police in the Penza region on Friday, March 11.

The affected drivers did not allow pedestrians the time to cross the road first, the press service of the regional traffic police informed PenzaNews.

“The traffic police would like to remind all people on roads to stay vigilant by pedestrian crossings: for the drivers, to slow down on approach, and for pedestrians, to make sure they are given the opportunity to cross,” they noted.
