Penza, 16 March 2016. PenzaNews. The Penza city head Valery Savelyev said he is dissatisfied with the performance of “Penza City Advertising Service,” a municipal state-funded enterprise.

“It is clear here that their performance cannot be called satisfactory. Their performance is poor,” he said during the session of the permanent City Duma committee on budgetary, financial and tax policy on Wednesday, March 16.

However, according to the city head, there are positive moments – in removal of unprofitable advertising structures and setup of procurement auctions – but they are negligible.

“Advertising services in other cities bring great profit. They are big items of income. […] Therefore, a question: What is it that you are doing?” he asked Alexei Nikulin, director of “Penza City Advertising Service.”

The institution staff must “roll up their sleeves and get to work actively,” Valery Savelyev added.
