The apartment buildings for orphans in the Zarya residential area of Penza city are scheduled to be fully built by August 1, announced the city mayor Victor Kuvaytsev during the session of the permanent City Duma committee on local governance and supervision over local governance authorities on Thursday, March 17.

“To provide housing to orphans, we began constructing the apartment buildings in the Zarya residential area for a total of 144 flats. The overall cost is around 150 million rubles, fully finance from the Penza region budget,” he explained.

According to the mayor, the flats will allow to significantly advance the housing queue for the orphans.

“However, by the time the currently eligible ones receive their housing, there will be new people that have the legal right to receive one too,” Victor Kuvatysev stressed.
