This year’s Penza KinnoFest youth festival dedicated to “Evolution of Professions”

Penza, 21 March 2016. PenzaNews. The on-side stage of the fifth KinnoFest Russia-wide youth popular science film festival, which will take place in Penza on March 28-31, will be dedicated to the topic “Evolution of Professions.”

During this year’s festival, competitors will be tasked to create video clips to depict the influence of innovations on evolution of professions in the modern society, all over the span of two days of work.
The filmmaking crews will receive their objectives at random by during a draw procedure.
On the first day, the contestants will meet with representatives of various enterprises and receive the information to create scripts of their future clips, followed by creative assignments for filming and video editing.
At any stage of the film creation process, KinnoFest participants will be able to receive consultations from the festival jury.
The winners will receive diplomas, award figurines and prizes.
KinnoFest festival was first held in 2012. It is a part of the comprehensive intradepartmental program “1000-list-nick” that aims to involve Penza region youth and teenagers in innovations.
The archive of the festival includes over 35 short films.
Over the span of four years, it attracted filming crews from Astrakhan, St. Petersburg, Izhevsk, Orenburg, Moscow, Vladimir, Ufa, Samara, Saratov, Kirov, as well as the Krasnoyarsky Krai, the Novosibirsk region and the Penza region.
