The current situation over resettlement of people from the Zavodskoy residential area to Zarya in Penza became the main topic of discussion during the meeting between the regional LDPR branch coordinator Alexander Vasilyev and the city administration head Victor Kuvaytsev that took place just recently.
Alexander Vasilyev claimed that some houses were illegally recognized as dilapidated, and urged the Penza city mayor to personally monitor and scrutinize the issue.
In turn, the Penza mayor assured him that the houses in question will not be demolished or forcefully resettled until the situation is fully scrutinized and analyzed, and said he is ready to personally meet with the people living in the Zavodskoy city area to achieve a compromise.
