Penza, 30 March 2016. PenzaNews. 169 traffic accidents in the Penza region that took place since the beginning of 2016 have been caused by poor exterior conditions, including road conditions.

According to the traffic police, the aforementioned accidents left 6 people dead and 213 more with various injuries.

These constitute a 64% of the total accidents.

In 2015, poor exterior conditions led to 1,146 traffic accidents with 93 people dead and 1,480 injured.

As a result, bad road conditions were determined as a cause of a half – 50.5% – of the total accident figure.
