Penza, 12 April 2016. PenzaNews. The streets of Penza will be getting decorated for Victory Day starting from the upcoming week, announced Vera Feygina, head of the city Department of Culture, during the city hall session on Tuesday, April 12.

As in the past years, the decorations will follow the red-and-yellow theme, she pointed out.

Vera Feygina demonstrated six types of celebration street banners and examples of Victory Day stickers that will be released in an issue of up to 1,000 units.

According to her, Fontannaya square will be the focal point of the day.

“The events there will be held up until 22.00,” she clarified.

The festivities will culminate in fireworks on the Sura river embankment, the head of the city Department of Culture added.
