Penza, 15 April 2016. PenzaNews. Establishing relations with the city authorities is one of the critical objectives for the Penza business, suggested Ilya Issakov, chairman of the Penza Confectionary Workers Union cluster, general director of “Bekovsky” food production facility, during the 2015 conclusion plenary meeting of the regional Civic Chamber on Friday, April 15.

In his speech, he reminded of the stance the businesses took on large fines issued by “Gorvodokanal” to enterprises on obsolete wastewater standards – the incident which was reported to the governor Ivan Belozertsev.
“I would like to point out that addresses to the regional authorities always get feedback: we cooperated with deputy chairmen, the chairman of the regional government, the ministers. So there are no issues on this level. I know our report resulted in an instruction, but then it all grinds to a halt on the city level. We already received two boilerplate letters, and we have not stopped,” Ilya Issakov explained.
According to him, it is very important right now to find understanding with the Penza city hall, as the city holds the dominant majority of the region’s business.
“The business density is the highest in Penza, there are many issues in Penza – we must learn to cooperate with the city itself, because we have almost no issues on the regional level,” he stressed.
