Penza, 23 April 2016. PenzaNews. PenzaNews agency has retained its position as the leader of the regional media segment as the most quoted Penza region media source, according to Yandex.

Based on the most recent information update published on Friday, April 22, the citation index of PenzaNews has increased up to 1,700 points.

The web-portal “PenzaInform” – a non-registered media source associated with the TV and radio broadcasting company “Nash Dom” – remains 100 points below.

At the same time, the citation inded of “Penza-Press” – a part of the “Express” media holding – received a media index of 1,300 points.

The top three distribution in the rating of Penza online news sources has not changed compared to the previous update that had taken place in December 2015.

Thematic Citation Index (TIC) is a technology employed by Yandex to determine the credibility of Internet resources in a quantitative output, based on the quality of links from other websites rather than quality.

TIC is calculated using a proprietary algorithm that takes into account thematic content of the resource and the linking sites.
