Penza, 26 April 2016. PenzaNews. The Penza region has announced an additional non-working day on All Souls Day – May 10 in 2016.

This day was first announced as a regional non-working day a year ago. The decree that announces All Souls Day to be work-free in the Penza region was approved on 10 April 2015 during the 25th session of the regional Legislative Assembly.

The date of the holiday is non-fixed: in 2015, it fell on April 21.

All Souls Day will be commemorated on Apruil 25 in 2017, April 17 in 2018, May 7 in 2019, and April 28 in 2020.

As PenzaNews reported earlier, additional buses will run in Penza to transport people to the Akhunskoye, Novo-Zapadnoye and Vostochnoye city cemeteries to allow citizens to visit and care for the graves of their relatives and close friends.
