Penza, 27 April 2016. PenzaNews. Over 50 employers have presented their vacancies at the regional job fair “Territory of Professionals 2016” held at the city’s culture and leisure center on Wednesday, April 27.

The event also involved student graduates and seniors.

In his address to the members of the plenary meeting held before the job fair, the regional governor Ivan Belozertsev pointed out that the event gives employers and job-seekers an opportunity to talk to each other face to face.

“The main thing is to find mutual understanding and work together over a common cause – open our own enterprises, produce our own high-quality marketable products. We have no right to stay vulnerable, and we must develop our economy and technologies,” said the head of the region.

According to him, creating new jobs is a strategic objective for the region.

“The new jobs won’t create themselves. This is an extensive and difficult task,” he pointed out.

Also, Ivan Belozertsev said he was ready to hold more informal meetings with the youth.

“I will be organizing more such meetings, and will instruct the ministers to speak at the Penza universities, all in order to learn more about your problems and solve them more effectively,” the governor stressed.

Following the plenary meeting, the students studied the information stands set up by Penza enterprises and organizations seeking new employees.
