Penza, 28 April 2016. PenzaNews. The real estate producer “Megastroy” will continue the construction of of the Penza perinatal center for 130 patients after the employer company “RT-SotsStroy” decided to unilaterally break the contract with its previous subcontractor “Sigma” due to negligent performance, in accordance to the information published on the Russian state procurement website.

According to the explanation of the signature of the agreement with a sole service provider, the decision was dictated by the deadlines of the national perinatal center construction program, the lack of time required for conducting an additional procurement procedure to seek out more potential subcontractors, and taking into account the list of organizations who gained a positive reputation in real estate production in the Penza region.

Based on the information available, the contract between “RT-SotsStroy” and “Megastroy” for 1 billion 10 million rubles was signed on 20 April 2016.

As PenzaNews reported earlier, the Penza region governor Ivan Belozertsev personally evaluated the construction process at the perinatal center a week ago. At the moment, the construction crews are working at the facility in three shifts with no free days.
