Penza region joins “Distance” social campaign

Penza, 29 April 2016. PenzaNews. The Traffic police and the teachers of the children and youth center “Sputnik” held an educational relay game for students of the kindergarten No. 99 and the gymnasium No. 6, as a part of the Russian countrywide social campaign “Distance.”

The event began with the teachers explaining the concept of distance on the road to the children, and showed them why maintaining the distance is important.
The young contestants rehearsed the main traffic rules and meanings of certain road signs during the game.
The competition was split into several stages, in which children were solving riddles, racing for being the fastest and the quickest, and acting as drivers on a training road.
“They showed themselves as skilled actors on the road who always keep attention,” the press service of the Penza region traffic police department informed PenzaNews.
For participation in the event, the students received small gifts – light reflectors to wear on their clothing.
