Penza to begin full-scale road repairs on May 4

Penza, 2 May 2016. PenzaNews. Penza plans to begin full-scale road repairs rather than just patching potholes starting from Wednesday, May 4, announced the head of the city’s Communal Affairs Department Andrei Skripkin during the city administration meeting held on Monday, May 2.

The pothole repairs are nearly finished by now, he clarified.
According to Andrei Skripkin, 21 road repair crews are ready to begin laying asphalt as soon as the weather clears up.
In turn, the vice mayor Yuri Ilyin pointed out that all but one subcontractors began their work on time and follow the previously outlined schedule.
The Penza mayor Victor Kuvaytsev instructed his subordinates to learn the reasons behind the delay and hold a meeting with the subcontractor in question after the May holidays, says the press service of the city hall.
