This year’s event was different: this time, the student team members and candidates spent three days in the children’s summer camp “Yunost,” which provided a full immersion in the job atmosphere.
The entertainment section of the forum did more than just entertain the students: through morning exercises, games and dances, the forum members learned how to organize such events by their seniors’ example.

Moreover, the schedule featured an extensive educational program.
To improve its effectiveness, the students were divided in random groups rather than their usual teams, and took part in workshops and dialogue platforms, where they discussed the relevant issues of student teams work, general standards and requirements for summer camp counselors, and the issues for the progress of the student team movement.
They placed particular accent on preparing the freshmen who currently have no experience in working at the children’s summer camps.
One of the more important stages of the forum was the teaching competition, where young adults were pitted against one another in mastery of their knowledge and skills, including resolution of difficult situations that may occur in children’s summer camps.
In conclusion, the students themselves organized a number of workshops.

“A traditional feature of our forums is a singing session for the educators. This year, the singing session was held at a real campfire. The young adults were not just singing songs: they prefaced them by beautiful legends and even plays. All that happened by the campfire, under the starry sky, creating an unforgettable experience and charging up everybody with the romantic of the summer camp work that many need so much,” the head of the regional Russian Student Teams branch Artem Kolobov told PenzaNews.
At the end of the forum, all participants received certificates of membership with commendations in separate sections, he added.
“All of them received unforgettable emotions and important experience which they will need in three weeks, when the summer camp semester begins,” Artem Kolobov stressed.
