Penza, 20 May 2016. PenzaNews. More than 5,000 people registered for the Green Marathon in the Volga Sberbank coverage area, which includes the Penza region. The event will take place on June 4, the first Saturday of this summer.

More and more people are registering for the event with each day, the bank press service informed PenzaNews.

“This year’s marathon will begin in dozens of cities at the same time, and will bring together different people who see sports and healthy lifestyle as more than just a popular trend. The festivities will feature entertainment for the whole family and various campaigns,” the Sberbank representatives pointed out.

Also, according to the press service, the Penza campaign will feature installing new benches in Sputnik City.

“The main event is the 4.2 km marathon for all who registered at the Green Marathon website. The Penza festivities will begin on the Sputnik City Sura river embankment at 10.00,” they added.
